  • This is a CONCENTRATE. Do use more than 1 capful per treatment. There are about 6 months worth of regular treatments in a 1-oz. bottle. Do not apply directly to hair, only use according to directions. 1. Mix 1 capful (fill center section only for short to medium hair, or the entire cap if you have extremely long or thick hair) of Pure Protein in a glass cup or bowl with enough of your favorite conditioner to cover your hair. Any brand of conditioner will work, but it's recommend to use a moisturizing conditioner if you wish to achieve more of a silky feeling afterward. Set mixture aside. 2. Wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo to remove all buildup. The hair shaft should be squeaky clean and completely free of any styling product/conditioner buildup or body oils so the protein can properly adhere. After washing, towel dry lightly to remove any dripping water. 3. Apply protein/conditioner mixture to hair. Comb through until evenly distributed. Cover with a plastic shower cap (or plastic bag) and leave on for 15-20 minutes. Rinse out completely when time is up. Do not wash hair again until the next day. 4. After application, blow your hair dry completely. For best results, use a brush to smooth and style hair while it is drying. This will not straighten hair, but styling hair immediately after the treatment will help set a temporary "memory" and make styling easier for the next 2 weeks. You can also use a straightening or curling iron to style hair once dried.
